The formula for marks percentage is simple: Percentage = (Marks Obtained ÷ Maximum Marks) × 100. If you scored 425 out of 500, your percentage is (425 ÷ 500) × 100 = 85%. When you have several subjects, add all your obtained marks together, add all the maximum marks together, and apply the formula to those totals — which is exactly what this calculator does for you.
